Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board has proposed to carry out the shifting of Trunk Main-VII at Poonamallee High Road near Kilpauk Medical College to facilitate construction of underground Metro Rain Station said Managing Director.

He further stated that , the work of carrying out the shifting of 750mm diameter Trunk Main-VII at Poonamallee High Road near Kilpauk Medical College to facilitate construction of underground Metro Rail Station is proposed to be undertaken from 9.00 AM on 29.02.2012 and upto 9.00 AM on 01.03.2012. During the above period there may be interruption in water supply at part of Kilpauk, part of Chetpet, Nungambakkam and part of Teynampet areas. Co-operation of the local public is solicited. If any water supply is affected, the following officers may be contacted for arranging water supply through lorries.
